Detective Comics Minifigures

The Super Heroes Series…

Aquaman is one of sixteen Minifigures available in this series.

With the exception of ‘Joker’ DC has struggled to find any room for itself in a Marvel dominated universe.

Can a new ‘DC Super Heroes Series’ of Minifigures be the answer?

Lego’s Minifigure foil bags have proven exceptionally popular over the last few years. Retailing at a very reasonable £3/4 and with a wide range of characters, and themed series that include heavyweights like Disney, it’s a constant winner for Lego.

But is this DC’s moment to shine?

The short answer is Yes.

Why? The brave decision to base the Super Heroes Series on their original comic book namesakes and not their updated identities and, more importantly, a new development on the Minifigures range from Lego. The aptly named ‘Posing Brick.’

The ‘Posing Brick’ adding a new dynamic level to Minifigures.

With 16 Super Heroes or Villains to collect, the question faced by many Lego fans is how best to display them? This new ‘Posing Brick’ is a game changer. Positioned together or separately, the ‘Posing Brick’ brings a whole new dynamic to each Minfigure.

A fantastic addition to the Minifigures Series and a huge step in the right direction for Detective Comics.
